Charting a decade of involvement in the Service Industry, Jeremy Krauze has been a big part of shaping and crafting the upstate’s nightlife and cocktail scene. Tacos and tequila have always been near and dear to his heart. As the former General Manager of Gringo’s Cantina, he has plenty of experience in tacos, agave spirits and cocktails. Placing 217 different tequilas, and mezcal on his back bar before going separate ways from Gringo’s back in 2017. In 2016, Jeremy Krauze and Peter Bouharoun (Bouharoun’s Liquor) hand selected a special barrel of Maestro Dobel’s Diamanté Tequila that produced 240 bottles exclusive to Bouharoun’s store and his clients in the upstate.
Since Krauze’s departure from Gringo’s, he’s had his hands in the marketing, social growth, and branding of some the upstate’s favorite spots to hang: Reys (Greenville), On the Roxx (Greenville), Main Street Pub (Spartanburg), and the brand new craft beer and wine bottle shop, Keg & Cellar (Spartanburg). In 2018 he attended and completed lectures and the course offered at Academía Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico.
Jeremy has gone on to form a clothing company called White Rabbit Supply Co. that not only has fun designs on super soft clothing, but also teams up with other local businesses to put on fun events raising funds for different charities. As a two time People’s Choice Award winner, and one time Social Star Award winner in Tacos N Tequila Fiesta, Jeremy is excited to sit as a judge in this year’s competition and to experience all of the creativity, and crafting from this year’s contestants!
MARY FRANCIS McALISTER
Event Coordinator, euphoria
Mary Frances McAlister is the Event Coordinator for euphoria, where she is responsible for event logistics and booking musical talent. She just wrapped up her fourth year on the team, as the food, wine and music festival celebrated its 15th anniversary. Mary Frances was born and raised in Greenville, and graduated from Presbyterian College. In her free time, she loves traveling, sailing, being on any kind of water, and hanging out with friends and family.
Owner, Latin Groove Charleston
Luigi was born in Cali, Colombia South America. His Passion for music inspired him to create Latin Groove LLC, a DJ service organization which is a medium for sharing the wealth of the Hispanic culture through music.
He owns and supervises a DJ mobile business that performs at over 100 events annually. Dj Luigi has spun in many clubs across the United States especially, in South Carolina (Charleston, Columbia, Greenville) Augusta, GA, Charlotte, N.C and more.
He’s also shared stage with well known Latin Artist such as: Tito el Bambino,Toby Love, Oro Solido, Fulanito, Charlie Cruz, Grupo Mania, Zacarias Ferreira, Domenic Marte, Axe Bahia, Hector Acosta “El Torito” and others and DJ’ at many festivals such as: The Charleston Latin American Festival, 5 de Mayo Festival, Caribbean Festival, Siempre Mujer Music Festival, Cuban Block Party (Piccolo Spoleto), Moja Festival.
For fifteen years now, he’s hosted “Salsa Nights” uniting the Latin and American Cultures in Charleston S.C. Luigi also was the DJ for “De Party Con Latin Groove” on Ritmo Caliente 99.3 FM an APEX broadcasting radio program.
He is the program director of Latin Groove radio app on TuneIn.
