The High Spirits Foundation is proud to produce the 7th annual Tacos ‘n Tequila Fiesta! The event will feature unlimited tacos from the area’s best chefs plus a Chef’s Taco Challenge, judged by local industry professionals. We are searching for the Upstate’s BEST chefs to go head-to-head to create the most delicious taco, side dish, or dessert ever tasted. The selected restaurants will serve their tacos and side dishes for our 800 event attendees and in-person judges to compete for the ultimate prize. Restaurants as permitted to bring a team with a maximum of three people (chef and assistants) to attend and participate in the Chef's Taco Challenge.
If you are up for the challenge, please submit the form below by March 30th, 2023. Space is limited, so we would recommend signing up as soon as possible. A $300 food stipend is provided to all taco participants who prepare 500-600 tacos, plus an additional $100 stipend to all participants who also prepare a Sidekick dish. Sidekicks must be prepared side dishes, not chips and salsa.
